Privacy Policy

Effective August 21, 2026. Short version: we collect very little, we don’t track you, and we never see your card.

What we don’t do

This site sets no cookies. It runs no analytics, no advertising pixels, and no third-party trackers. We do not build a profile of you, and we do not sell, rent, or share your information with anyone for marketing.

The only thing stored in your browser is your light/dark theme preference, which never leaves your device.

What we collect

When you grade a listing

• The listing address you submit, and the public information on that page — title, description, photographs, amenities, rates shown, ratings and public guest reviews. All of it is already public; we simply read it.
• The report we generate, stored so you can return to its link.

When you buy

• Your email address, passed to us by Stripe after checkout, so we can send your report and reach you about it.
• A payment reference from Stripe confirming the purchase.
• Never your card details. Payment happens on Stripe’s own checkout page. Card numbers do not pass through, and are not stored on, our servers.

Your IP address

We limit how many free reports can be run from one place, to stop abuse. To do that without keeping a record of who visited, your IP address is converted into a salted hash and counted. The address itself is never written down. We cannot work backwards from what we store to identify a visitor.

What we do with it

• produce and deliver the report you asked for
• send your receipt and report link, and answer you if you write in
• process refunds
• keep the service working and prevent abuse
• improve our grading — we study reports and the listings behind them to find where the grader was wrong

We do not send marketing email unless you ask us to. There is no newsletter to unsubscribe from.

Who else touches it

We use a small number of service providers. They handle data only to provide their service to us:

• Stripe — payment processing. Card details go directly to Stripe and never reach our servers.
• Anthropic — the AI model that grades the listing and writes the report.
• Apify — retrieving the public listing page you asked us to grade.
• Supabase — the database where reports are stored.
• Vercel — website hosting and delivery.
• Resend — sending your report receipt and link by email.

Your listing content is sent to our AI provider in order to grade it. Public guest reviews on the listing page are part of that content.

How long we keep it

Reports are kept so your link keeps working, and so we can honor the included re-check on a purchase. Purchase records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require.

Want your report and email deleted? Write to support@gradeyourlisting.com and we will delete them, keeping only what we’re legally required to retain for the transaction. We’ll confirm when it’s done.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or object to how we use it. Ask at support@gradeyourlisting.com. We won’t make you jump through hoops, and we don’t charge for it.

We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. The service is for property hosts.

Where your data lives

Our providers operate in the United States. If you use the service from outside the US, your information is processed there.

Security

Reports are addressed by an unguessable link and are not listed or indexed. We use reputable infrastructure providers and keep credentials off the client. No system is perfectly secure, and we won’t claim otherwise — but we hold very little that would be worth taking.

Changes

If we change what we collect or who processes it, we’ll update this page and its effective date.
